WORKSHOP INFO
In the Vedic Tradition we see many ways in which we are guided to cultivate the quality of light (sattva) and inner illumination. One of the ways is to begin the day, or our daily sadhana with traditional chants celebrating the inner light of the heart. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali we find many beautiful aphorisms guiding us from darkness to light, – from agitation to calm and sattvic illumination. Patanjali discusses how meditative discipline can aid us in anchoring spiritually, and guide us back to our Selves.
In this series of virtual workshops we will explore a selection of sutras and Vedic traditions celebrating the interior life, and path of practice. In every session different topics will be highlighted which aids us in understanding, and working with heart-based sadhana. We will also chant traditional Indian chants and sutras. This course is meant both for the beginner and seasoned student of Yoga philosophy.
