August 30, 2020
Online Virtual Workshop

Time: 6:00am-8:00am PST, 9:00am-11:00am EST, 2:00pm-4:00pm London, 9:00pm-11:00pm Taiwan

During this live online workshop, we will explore one of the most important traditional festivals in the Vedic tradition, that of Pitru Paksha. This is a 16 day period in September devoted to the ancestors and involves the offer of prayer as well as certain ritual practices and reflective practices.

It is believed that certain rituals offered during this time will appease the ancestors and bring peace to our souls.

In this workshop, we will explore some of the traditional meanings of Shradh or Pitru Paksha and its relevance to us today as Yogic seekers. We will also look at ways we can prepare for personal sadhanas, at home.

  • You will also receive a video recording of the live session which you can review later, and have access to for 4 days after the completion of the class.
