Sri Krishan Mantriji
This work is dedicated to the Yogic lineage of the Iyengars, and to Sri Krishan Mantriji, who’ve shared generously with me for years. Without their wisdom, teachings, support, and encouragement this course on Yoga Philosophy and Iyengar Yoga never would have happened.

Om. May we, guru and disciple, be protected together.
May we enjoy the fruits of our action together.
May we achieve strength together.
May our knowledge be full of light.
May we never have enmity for one another.
Om, peace, peace, peace.
I’m forever grateful to have Yogic sādhanā and the ancient Vidyas in my life. I hope these courses will inspire and nourish you in whatever ways you might need. I’ve experienced that when we commit sincerely to a Yogic path of seeking within—through dedicated practice and spiritual study—the fire of Yoga takes us above and beyond whatever we thought possible.
The grace of Yoga is infinite and keeps unfolding its mysterious power.
May the fire of Yoga always shine in your heart, mind, and body.
